Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document discusses the NETZSCH Vacuum De-Aerator DA/DA-VS, a technology designed for de-aerating fluids in various industries. This process is crucial for preventing negative effects such as oxidation and decomposition in products.

Specifications and Features
The Vacuum De-Aerator is capable of removing micronized gas and air pockets from liquids with a wide range of viscosities. It supports both discrete pass and inline operations, with throughput rates influenced by machine size and product viscosity. Key advantages include high throughput rates, flexible batch sizes, minimal product loss, easy cleaning, low maintenance, and compact construction. Options available include explosion-proof design and complete stainless steel construction.

De-Aeration Process
The de-aeration process utilizes a vacuum thin-film rotation procedure. A vacuum pump draws the product into the de-aeration chamber, where it forms a thin layer on a rotating bowl. The product is then discharged by centrifugal force. The process is controlled by non-return valves and other valves to manage residence time and throughput.

Applications
The Vacuum De-Aerator is applicable in various industries, including food (syrup, beverages), cosmetics (liquid soaps, shampoos), pharmaceuticals, and chemicals (paints, inks, lubricants).

Technical Data
The document provides technical specifications for different models, such as the MiniVac and Type 602, detailing dimensions, drive power, vacuum pump power, and de-aeration capacity.

Vacuum De-Aerator DA/DA-VS When processing liquid to high viscosity products, air or gas pockets often cause difficulties. The embedding of air and therefore oxygen can lead to negative effects on a product, for example: Oxidation Decomposition of fat and oils Degeneration of smell and taste Porous surfaces from coating In contrast, de-aerated products are more chemically dense with great shelf lif

Vacuum De-Aerator DA/DA-VS The de-aeration process With the NETZSCH Vacuum De-Aerator it is easy to continuously de-aerate fluid products. Even micronized gas and air pockets in liquids with a broad viscosity range are removed with that machine. The continuous operation places high technical demands on product feeding and discharge line with possibly leackage-free outlet. The machines for de-aeration can be used for both discrete pass operation using tanks or inline operation, integrated into a plant production line. The throughput rates are dependent on the machine size and are extremely influenced...

The function principle The NETZSCH Vacuum De-Aerator works according to vacuum thinfilm rotation procedure (VTR principle). A vacuum pump creates vacuum in the de-aeration chamber (1), drawing the product into the unit. The product flows to the centre of a rotating bowl (2). A thin product layer that is continuously deaerated is formed on the rotating bowl (2) The product discharge occurs by centrifugal force from the rotating bowl forcing the product out through a pick-up pipe (3) The residence time or the throughput of the product within the de-aeration chamber is influenced by non-return valves...
