XDP-II Multipurpose Partial Discharge Measurement Kit The well-established XDP-II can now be used for acoustic and transient earth voltage (TEV) testing. When combined with the acoustic & HF converter XDP-II-019, the parabolic sensor or the contact probe, it allows detection of partial discharge, corona and arcing phenomenon for predictive maintenance in electric utilities. The optional wireless phase synchronization module XDP-II-017 is also available to differentiate noise from partial discharge activity. The HFCT clamps can also be used with wireless synchronization to measure partials discharges signals on ground connections. ADVANTAGES Data logging for further analysis Wireless phase reference signal synch supported Works just as well in noisy environments Countless number of possible applications Battery operated for maximum flexibility Easy to use, instinctive menus Insulation flaws are an important factor in wear, efficiency loss and lifespan reduction of an electrical network. Nowadays, it is important to be equipped with good tools in order to reduce operational costs and save valuable time. The XDP-II enables making remote acoustic inspections with great accuracy. The equipment is user friendly and portable. One of the advantages of the XDP-II is that it works just as well in noisy environments. The applications of the XDP-II are countless and make it a versatile tool: a must for any prevention / maintenance department. Applications for partial discharge, corona effect and arcs measurement: • Arcs on shields • Overhead assets • Medium voltage switchgears • Power cables • Most medium & high voltage assets Acoustic & HF converter installed on the XDP-II, parabolic sensor, contact probe, TEV sensor and HFCT clamps ndb Technologies inc. • 1405 St-Jean-Baptiste, office 111 • Quebec (QC) G2E 5K2 - Canada • Tel: 1(418)877-7701 Fax: 1(418)877-7787 Email: [email protected]
