L3-100 3-phase LISN

L3-100 3-phase LISN

Product catalog summary
Overview: The L3-100 is an Artificial Mains Network (AMN), also known as a Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN), designed for accurate measurement of disturbance voltage from Equipment Under Test (EUT) into power lines. It ensures repeatable measurements by providing a known impedance and phase response across the test frequency range.
Specifications:
  • Frequency Range: 9 kHz to 30 MHz
  • Max Continuous Output Current: 100 A
  • Overload Current: 125 A for 5 minutes
  • Operating Voltage: 230 VAC/325 VDC (L/PE), 400 VAC/565 VDC (L/L)
  • Input Mains Frequency: DC to 60 Hz
  • Equivalent Circuit: 50 Ω // [5 Ω + 50 µH] with 250 µH choke
  • RF Output Connector: BNC female
  • EUT Connection: 125 A plug and socket outlet (IEC309 standard)

  • Dimensions: 465 x 450 x 740 mm
  • Weight: 70 kg (gross weight 100 kg)
Main Features:
  • Suitable for AC 3-phase power circuits from DC to 60 Hz
  • Compliant with standards such as CISPR 16-1-2, VDE 0876, FCC part 15, MIL-STD 461F
  • Robust mechanical construction and high-quality components
  • Local and remote control capabilities
Installation Requirements:
  • Electrical safety requires insulating transformers between mains power line and AMN line inputs
  • High mains noise may necessitate mains filters to reduce unwanted signals
Related Products:
  • Various EMI receivers and RFI filters compatible with the L3-100
  • Optional LISN service kit for verification and calibration

L3-100 3-phase LISN-1

Three phase plus neutral V-Network 9 kHz - 30 MHz, 125 A for AC and DC powered EUT Provided Features • • • • Powering the EUT EUT termination to a standardized impedance respect to the reference ground Coupling the measuring receiver to the disturbance generated by the EUT Decoupling the measuring receiver from unwanted RF signals from the power line Main Features • 9 kHz to 30 MHz frequency range • Up to 100A continuous rated output current • Local and remote control from PMM EMI receivers • Suitable for DC to 60 Hz power lines • Meets the requirements of several standards including CISPR 16-1-2, VDE 0876, FCC part 15, MIL-STD 461F The AMN - Artificial Mains Network, also known as LISN - Line Impedance Stabilization Network - is the ancilliary device intended for repeatable and accurate measurement of the disturbance voltage that an EUT (Equipment Under Test) may inject into the power line or mains. This is obtained by providing well known impedance value and phase response across the frequency range of the test. L3-100 is suitable for measurement on AC 3-phase power circuits from DC to 60 Hz. The equivalent V-Network circuit of 50 Ω // (5 Ω + 50 μH) with 250μH choke is fully compliant with the reference standards. PMM Artificial Mains Networks provide robust and stable mechanical construction, high quality electric components, easy and perfect grounding, solid input-output power connections. They can be used in conjunction with any EMI receiver or spectrum analyzer and offer features required for safe, repeatable and accurate measurements.
