Sample Carryover Introduction A study was conducted to demonstrate the lack of sample carryover on the Thermo Scientific NanoDrop™ 8000 spectrophotometer. The protocol included measuring 4 individual aliquots of water, followed by 4 aliquots of a high concentration DNA sample. Carryover was then assessed by the measuring of another 4 aliquots of water. The test results demonstrate that there is no significant sample carryover on the instrument measurement pedestals.
