THE PROCESS OPTIMIZER Metal components are often transported with electromagnets that are controlled by transformers. When these transformers are switched off, some residual magnetism will remain. This is undesired because now the metal components will not disconnect from the electromagnets. Sometimes they stick to it and this can mess up the complete process. Murrelektronik‘s demagnetizer ensures that this doesn‘t happen. This cabinet component controls electromagnets with DC voltage. The magnetic force is controlled through an analog signal (0 to 10 V) from the control or with a separate set point adjuster. During the demagnetizing process the components disconnect consistently and quickly. There are no more problematic induction voltages or residual magnetism.
