Munters ComDry NX series is particularly suited to water and fire damage restoration operations as well as archives, waterworks and the construction industry. ComDry NX units can also be used to reduce the relative humidity in storage rooms, cellars, archives and other limited spaces. Benefits include a more compact machine with less weight (only 11 kg), making it ideal for handheld tasks. From an investment point of view, the 3 hole principle provides a more economical alternative compared to the 4-hole machine, having a lower total life time cost (when used in a closed system). Typical uses could include small space compartments like crawl spaces, small drying rooms, or open-system solutions. The ComDry NX M190Y is designed for mobile and fixed installations. Operational remote control and/or signals facilitate operation, making Munters ComDry NX M190Y the perfect choice for preservation applications. The Munters ComDry NX range is available in two configurations – Base and Pro. For the Base model, system integration is possible using wired signals or the Modbus TCP communication protocol. The Pro model has additional functionality with AirC Wireless sensors and wireless remote control panel. The internal design is based on the so-called 3-hole principle, meaning the process and reactivation air streams are driven by only one common fan. This simple design requires only one hose connection to the outside for wet air extraction.
