The MTF Multi-Tech Conveyor Belts can optionally be equipped with different metal detection facilities. Depending on the application and the desired sensitivity, a one- or two-layered surface detector or a tunnel detector is available. When metal is detected in the material during the conveying process, the detector releases an electrical pulse which can be analysed by different controls.
