The interface mode of all eight ports are freely selectable either for RS232 or RS485/422. The configuration of all ports is done via software and can be changed at any time. All interfaces work with standard baudrates up to 250kBaud. Optional the RS485/422 interfaces are available with up to 6.25Mbaud and 60V fail safe. Further more galvanic isolation (500Vrms) on up to two RS485/422 ports is available.
