4 or 8 x RS232/RS485/RS422 on a single PC/104-Plus Module General Description The Octal Serial Communication Interface (OSCI) board family provides on a single PC/104-Plus module up to eight serial lines. The interface mode of all eight ports are freely selectable either for RS232 or RS485/422. The configuration of all ports is done via software and can be changed at any time. All interfaces work with standard baudrates up to 250kBaud. Optional the RS485/422 interfaces are available with up to 6.25Mbaud and 60V fail safe. Further more galvanic isolation (500Vrms) on up to two RS485/422 ports is available. All serial interfaces are accessible on 2.54mm headers and allow an easy connection to standard serial DSUB-9 connectors.
