Mott Polymer Filtration for Fiber/Yarn Production PolyPak for Polymer Filtration PolyPak Filters Mott’s PolyPak filter design provides increased life and performance to polymer spin pack filtration. The filter is a sintered, rigid structure that helps lower spin pack pressures by as much as 30%. A continuous, graduated pore size matrix ranges from pre-filtration to a controlled final filtration in the single filter element. PolyPak Design PolyPak is a graduated porous metal filter that eliminates the need for an independent downstream screen pack and sealing mechanism. This reduces the number of components and decreases time necessary to form a traditional polymer spin pack assembly. PolyPak can be installed and “sealed” with a single crush ring into the spin pack assembly replacing loose powder (shattered metal/sand) and eliminating screen packs.
