Overview
Mott HyPulse® HyLine Filters are designed for batch and small process separation of solids from liquids or gases using Mott precision porous metal media. These filters support automated, insitu backwash/blowback cleaning, extending the element life to months or years. The standard media material is 316L stainless steel, suitable for most chemicals and high temperatures. Other materials include Hastelloy®, Monel®, Nickel, Inconel®, Alloy 20, and Titanium.

Design and Specifications
Each filter is pressure tested at 1.5 times its rated capacity. The housings are made of 316L stainless steel with a single O-ring seal design. The element connection is threaded, eliminating gaskets and potential leaks. Standard features include a 1" drain for cleaning and differential pressure taps.

Application Versatility
The filters can be used for separating solids from liquids and gases in various applications, from downstream protection to pilot-plant processes. They are available in 250 psi and 1000 psi ratings at 400°F / 204°C. The filters can operate in any position and come with optional operating valve kits.

Pilot Plant Process Applications
The HyLine filter, when used with the Backwash/Blowback Valve Kit, is ideal for pilot plant use. It helps evaluate feasibility, filterability, efficiency, flow vs. differential pressure, and optimize operating parameters.

Filters are ordered by housing/element specifications, including media grade, porous length, diameter, and pressure rating. Optional spring reinforcement is available for certain models.
