Cartridge filters are designed for refining olive oil and high-density liquids. Procedures:
The filters can be equipped with either a rubber impeller or a mono screw pump, suitable for retaining heavy mucilage in olive oil. Typically, they operate with two or three cartridges in sequence and can be used for continuous filtration with two parallel sequences. If one line clogs, a bypass allows the oil to flow to the other line, enabling cleaning of the dirty cartridges.

Performance and Recommendations:
These filters do not produce waste materials and, when combined with paper filters, enhance performance and oil haze removal. The washing process is simple and quick, with no oil loss due to the recovery system in the vat.
