ANODIZING OXYDATION During the oxidation process, part of Aluminium is dissolved into the acid bath, implying the increase of Aluminium concentration, thus forming Aluminum sulfate (Al2(SO4)3). Generally, the bath rich in aluminium is dumped, in order to be refilled in acid, causing a production stop. The application of ECOAL allows a continuous production, without any stops, keeping constant the bath conditions.

Filtration Aluminum removal Acid WASHING OPERATING PRINCIPLE The ECOAL unit separates an acid (H2SO4) from its salt (Al2(SO4)3), thanks to a chromatographic separation principle. A typical application for the ECOAL unit refers to anodizing oxydation. This feature is directly connected to the anodising tank, or to a sub-tank, and it continuosly works, removing the dissolved Aluminium in the oxydation baths.
