Serializing Heads Overview
Serializing heads are used for marking with steel stamps, which can be consecutive, random, duplicate, or include letters or symbols. Special serializing heads can be customized for unique marking requirements, such as hot stamping, selective marking, and roll marking.

Consecutive Serial Numbers
These can be indexed manually, with a trip lever, or using pneumatic/mechanical actuators. Up to six wheels in a head can have automatic action.

Frame Dimensions
There are two standard frame sizes: small and large. The dimensions are provided in millimeters for each size.

Character and Wheel Specifications
Standard wheels are cut with sharp faces and include numbers 0-9 with one blank station. Logos, symbols, or letters can be engraved in various styles. The security pin secures the wheels and transmits impact energy for marking.

Character Sizes and Impression Lengths
Character sizes range from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm, with corresponding maximum numbers of wheels and lengths of marked impressions. The table provides detailed measurements for each character size and number of wheels.
