The programmable controller adds features that allow the highest quality etch marking to include those for MIL STD 130 and DOD UID requirements: Ten Program Files: Customers save specific etch parameters in ten convenient files. Often set up by substrate to insure quality marking standards on similar materials. Program changes can be controlled by a key lockout. Control Power and Pulse Settings to Reduce over All Marking Time: Programmable controls take these cycle time sittings away from operator variation – this in turn produces higher quality marks and improves stencil life. Program Files with AC or DC current: This new feature allows standard and deep etch settings. Hand marking has often been specified for deep etch marking on air craft and aerospace parts. Capable of marking safe, legible and most importantly low stress marks. The Model 450 sets a new standard for hand marking.
