Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document introduces the Mono progressing cavity pump range, specifically designed for the explosives industry. Developed in collaboration with a leading explosives company, these pumps are tailored to handle explosive emulsions and prill safely and economically.
Design Features and Applications
The X Range pumps are designed for high solids content, surface transfer, and existing equipment retrofit applications. Key features include increased solids handling capability (up to 50% solids content), a one-piece rotor/Flexishaft® design that reduces maintenance, compact design for truck-mounted applications, and a positive keyed drive fixing for increased safety. The selective geometry of the pumps reduces power consumption by up to 20%.
Technical Specifications
The document provides a pre-selection chart for the X Range Explosive Pumps, detailing pressure and capacity metrics. It also lists the dimensions for various models, such as X043, X054, X062, and others, with lengths ranging from 1419 mm to 2658 mm. The pumps feature ANSI/BS/DIN flanged ports or rectangular hoppers for both inlet and outlet, and an imperial keyed shaft with a 4-bolt flange for motor connection.
