Capacitive sensors ensure precise fluid-level measurements with greater accuracy and lower set-up costs, utilizing customized end-to-end solutions and easy-to-install calibration software Capacitive Fluid Level Sensors Capacitive Fluid Level Sensors easily mount to the outside of a container and measure through almost any non-metallic material. They are custom designed and optimized for a range of applications such as medical devices, pump controls, beverage machines etc. A design can use a traditional printed circuit board for a flat surface, or a thin, flexible circuit to accommodate curved surfaces or space-constrained applications. The sensor includes customized embedded software which can be configured for auto-calibration for easy installation, or manual calibration to maximize the accuracy. Capacitive Fluid Level Sensor Mated to a USB Cable Features and Benefits Customized sensors for non-metallic containers Provides a low-cost measuring process with disposable sensors and reusable electronic circuitry Multiple output interfaces available (USB, I2C and discrete signals) Provides customized output interface to meet the specific needs of the application Auto (95% accurate) and manual (98% accurate) calibrations Provides maximum calibration accuracy and easy installation Flexible circuitry with pressure-sensitive adhesive Conforms to container shape. Mounts outside the container allowing measurement of caustic fluids as well as granular and pulverized materials Solid-state capacitive technology with no moving parts Eliminate problems with mechanical wear over time Substrate options available including PCB, polyester flexible circuit and polyimide flexible circuit Provides design options and flexibility Applications Automotive and Tractors – Plastic fuel tanks – Liquid fertilizer – Hydraulic fluid Medical – IV bags Beverage dispensing – Soft drink syrup Agriculture – Cleaning fluid tanks – Liquid fuel storage Beverage Dispensers Note: Molex reserves the right to delay or cancel production of the depicted product without additional notice.
