Overview

The MP220 Series Pancake Slip Rings are compact rotary electrical connectors designed for transmitting power and signals with minimal thickness (22mm) and a through bore size of 25.4mm. Constructed from aluminum alloy with precious metal contacts and gold-plated processing, these slip rings ensure stable transmission with low resistance fluctuations. They are optimized for applications where thickness is limited but diameter is flexible.

Part Number and Configuration

The series includes multiple part numbers differentiated by circuit count, current rating, and signal channels. The diameter ranges from 92mm to 460mm depending on the model. Current ratings include 10A power rings and 5A signal rings. Some models allow parallel connection of multiple 10A rings to increase current capacity (e.g., two 10A rings in parallel provide 20A).

Product Quality Levels

Two product quality levels are offered:

Lead Wire Color Coding

The slip rings use a 12-wire color code repeated in groups of six wires:

• 1: Black (BLK)
• 2: Red (RED)
• 3: Yellow (YEL)
• 4: Green (GRN)
• 5: Blue (BLU)
• 6: White (WHT)
• 7-12: Repeat colors 1-6 with numeric code pipe indication

Customization and Notes
