The units produce the classic ‘Foghorn' sound, delivering a very high sound and very low frequency output, making it ideal for signalling across medium to large areas. The length of the trumpet will dictate the wavelength of the sound waves produced, and therefore, the frequency of the note produced. In general, the lower the frequency of the note produced, the further the sound will travel.
