Components of the New ELCOMAT® vario N Autocollimation Sensor Head In the autocollimation sensor head, the reticle pattern reflected by an optical mirror is imaged on a corresponding matrix sensor, digitized and its position change is evaluated. The direct digital signal processing in the sensor head guarantees an excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
