MLP-FP Series Laser Systems for Micro Perforation of Flexible Film Materials Picture shows a turnkey Laser Perforation System for flexible packaging purposes with two independent focusing heads, CO2 Laser and the control cabinet. The MLP-FP Series are turnkey laser perforation systems which offer an exclusive technology specifically designed to satisfy the highest quality requirements for the perforation of flexible film materials for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The aim is the customised permeability of the controlled gas exchange from CO2 and O2 of flexible bags and lidding films such as PP, PET, PE, PA and their multilayer combinations for high quality packaging solutions. These solutions are used for the packaging of products such as fresh and convenience food, vegetables or chemicals and pharmaceuticals where precisely defined vapour and gas transmission is essential to enhancing the products shelf life. Laser manufactured holes do not weaken the tensile strength of the film. Its regular melt edge guarantees that the film will not tear.
