Eventuali corpi estranei dovranno essere rimossi per assicurare una corretta filtrazione. Avvitare il filtro al tubo filettato usando una chiave proporzionata alla grandezza dello stesso. Per ottenere una corretta tenuta sui filetti utilizzare nastro di PTFE canapa o altro prodotto compatibile al fluido in quantita adeguata, poiche un eccessivo impiego potrebbe causare la rottura dei manicotti. Before to assemble the strainer at the pipeline check inside the body and the threaded parts to be completely clean, possible extraneous matters have to be removed in order to ensure a right filtering. Screw the strainer at the threaded pipe using a suitable wrench. In order to get a correct sealing on threadings it is useful to employ PTFE, hempen tape or other product compatible with the fluid, in adequate quantity since an excessive employ could cause the couplings breakage. MANUTENZIONE MAINTENANCE Il filtro viene normalmente montato per impedire che le impurita possano danneggiare apparecchi montati a valle quali valvole di regolazione, di chiusura, ecc. Il cestello del filtro (3) deve essere periodicamente pulito. Per effettuare tale operazione: svitare il tappo (2) e pulire il cestello. Se necessario il filtro puo essere smontato completamente utilizzando utensili standard. Prima di riassemblarlo, verificare che i piani di tenuta siano accuratamente puliti e non danneggiati e che la guarnizione (4) sia integra in ogni parte; diversamente e consigliabile sostituirla. The strainer is normally assembled at pipelines in order to avoid the impurities to damage the equipments installed below, that is on/off valves, regulating valves, etc. The screen (2) has to be periodically cleaned. To carry out this operation loosen the body/cover screws (3), take off the cover (4) and clean the screen. If necessary the strainer can be completely disassembled using standard tools. Before to assemble it again, check if the sealing areas are carefully clean and not damaged and if each part of the gasket is integral, otherwise it is recommended to replace it.
