Unloading Support Length 3000mm Zero tail-end scrap cutting (also called “zero remnant cutting”) refers to a laser tube cutting process that reduces the leftover material at the end of a tube - the part that can no longer be gripped and processed - to nearly zero. In conventional tube cutting, the chuck must maintain a secure grip on the tube. When the tail end moves beyond the chuck’s clamping range, the remaining segment (typically 80 mm to 200 mm) can no longer be cut accurately and becomes unavoidable scrap. Zero tail-end cutting eliminates this waste, allowing the entire tube - from head to tail - to be used for finished parts. Material utilization can reach 99% or higher.
