Reliant Series Specifications
Reliant seals are non-contacting, non-rotating, and can handle large shaft movements. They are shock and vibration qualified to military standards and offer superior performance with approvals from NAVSEA, MIL-S-901D, MIL-STD-167-1A, ABS, and DNV-GL.

Omni Series Specifications
Omni seals are cost-effective, non-floating, and suitable for applications with less than 10mm radial motion. They are ideal for military and commercial vessels, composite shaft systems, and high RPM applications.

Origins and Development
The HydroActive™ Seal was developed in response to a US Navy requirement for improved bulkhead seals following the USS Cole incident. Midé’s development was funded by a Navy SBIR award, resulting in a reliable and innovative seal design.
