LTHS line Microelettrica Scientifica’s LTHS contactors range is designed for demanding applications in railway and industry, where high performances in terms of electrical endurance and current rating are requested, also in presence of harsh working conditions. To accomplish most of the possible applications, all the LTHS contactors can be manufactured in single or multipolar form and, upon request, allow a very high degree of customization. Available with normally open or normally closed configuration, LTHS line contactors are manufactured also in the mechanical latch version. In order to work efficiently both with high and low currents, the contactors are equipped with indirect blow out circuit. This arc-extinguishing technology allows to work indifferently in AC as well as DC. The DC control coil operates without economy resistor within a wide working range. A “varistor” cuts off the peak voltage when the coil is de-energized. More than 20000 LTHS contactors are delivered every year for the most demanding projects and applications worldwide.
