VALUMAX posts and post holders are ideal for cost sensitive or non-critical mounting applications. VALUMAX® SPV Series Posts are 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) in diameter with a 8-32 (M4) tapped hole in one end and a 1/4-20 (M6) tapped hole in the other end. Each post is supplied with a 8-32 (M4) double-ended set screw, so the set screw can be easily removed regardless of which end protrudes. VALUMAX series posts can also be used with VPH and VPT series post holders. VALUMAX® VPHV Series Post Holders feature a unique collet locking mechanism allowing the orientation of an optical mount to be easily adjusted with one hand. The pedestal base offers the flexibility of securing components anywhere on an optical table when using a PS-F Slotted Clamping Fork. The VPHV-F model post holders include a clamping fork with the VALUMAX® post holder of your choice. The post holders have an open bore, so that the post can be lowered completely to the table surface. The optional threaded insert, VPHV-A (M-VPHV-A), can be threaded into the bottom of the post holder to provide a 1/4-20 (M6) threaded hole for attachment directly to an optical table or breadboard. They are sold in packs of 10.
