It is available at 1064 nm with TEM00 beam quality and a repetition rate up to 500 kHz. It delivers an average laser power greater than 8 W and a high pulse-to-pulse stability of less than 4% at 400 kHz. The V-Xtreme laser system is comprised of two components: the laser head and the Model J40 power supply. The V-Xtreme laser was specifically designed for applications requiring a highly efficient, Q-switched, round laser beam in a cost-effective package. It features a rugged design with a sealed laser head for simple, hands-off operation. An internal power monitor allows for operation in light loop mode. Driving the laser system is a Spectra-Physics ProLite® highpower FCbar diode module that is mounted in the Model J40 power supply. It delivers 808 nm infrared pump power to end-pump the Nd:Vanadate crystal in the laser head via a removable fiber bundle. The V-Xtreme laser system ensures maximum reliability with minimum complexity.
