This Oriel Arc Lamp System was designed for applications requiring uniform illumination. This system delivers a 1.0-inch (25.4 mm) diameter collimated beam, uniform to ±5%. Beam divergence is ±1.5°. The work plane is 2.6 inches (66.5 mm) from the bottom of the beam turning assembly. Various dichroic filters are available to shape the spectral output in the UV and VIS, or use the unfiltered source for output from 200 nm to 2.5 ìm. System Components Lamp Housing The 66990 Oriel Uniform Illuminator uses a fan cooled lamp housing that offers a temperature controlled, stable environment for the lamp. An advanced optical integrator ensures a beam uniformity of ±5%. A number of safety features are incorporated into the housing to prevent accidental exposure and lamp overheating. A lamp ignitor is built into the lamp housing.
