Ultrafast Optical Parametric Amplifier- OPA-800C - 1

OPA--800C The OPA-800C Advantage Ultrafast Optical Parametric Amplifier The Spectra-Physics OPA-800C is a kilohertz ultrafast optical parametric amplifier (OPA). It broadens the wavelength coverage of Spectra-Physics ultrafast amplifiers, such as the Solstice™ and Spitfire® Pro and provides gap free tunability from UV to mid-IR. Featuring a complete set of wavelength extension options, the OPA-800C allows tuning from 235 nm to 10 ìm. The OPA-800C can be configured for <35 fs, <40 fs, <120 fs or <2 ps operation to match the flexibility of our versatile Spitfire Pro ultrafast amplifier. Both Solstice and Spitfire Pro provide industry leading beam quality and output stability. These superior characteristics ensure maximum conversion efficiency for the parametric amplification process, thus producing high energy, near transform- limited pulses throughout the tuning range. Seeded with white light continuum, the OPA-800C ensures the highest output stability. It is a manual, cost sensitive platform and offers the maximum flexibility to the end user. Several OPA-800Cs can be simultaneously pumped by a single Solstice or Spitfire Pro amplifier, generating several independently tunable and inherently synchronized ultrafast pulses. The OPA-800C is an excellent alternative to the automated, computer controlled Spectra-Physics TOPAS C. Whether an application needs the convenience of the automated, handsoff TOPAS or the flexibility of the OPA-800C, Spectra-Physics offers the right OPA solution. • Tunable from 1.1–2.6 ìm • Optional harmonic and frequency-mixing accessories extend tuning range from 235 nm–10 ìm • Pumped with Spitfire Pro (<35 fs, <40 fs and <120 fs) and Solstice (<120 fs) for maximum flexibility of operation • White light seed for enhanced output stability • Multiple OPAs can be pumped by a single Spitfire Pro amplifier • Compact one-box design with user friendly layout for greater flexibility and ease of operation • Type II BBO crystal for near transform limited output pulses and gap-free tunability from 1.1–3.0 ìm Spectra-Physics OPA product family – the OPA-800C and TOPAS
