The most critical features in a kinematic optical mount are adjustment "feel" and long-term stability. SUPREMA provides the feel necessary to tune the most sensitive set-ups and the stability to hold that position better than any other modular mount on the market. SN050 and SS050 Series Kinematic Mounts Our SN050 and SS050 SUPREMA® 0.5-in (12.7-mm) Kinematic Optical Mounts offer superior performance in a compact footprint. Choose from our patented Clear Quadrant open aperture or closed aperture configuration for increased stability. Additionally, these mounts have three 100-TPI precision adjustment screws with optional locks and can be ordered with your choice of front or rear loading optic faceplates. For applications requiring post mounting, we offer English and metric versions of the ADAPT-SUP-0.5 post adapter with 8-32 (M4) counterbored thru-holes. SN100 and SS100 Series Kinematic Mounts SN100 and SS100 Optical Mounts are fabricated from pressed and sintered powdered metal stainless steel. Through our patent pending process we create cost-effective pressed and sintered powdered stainless steel mounts with performance comparable to that of wrought stainless steel. Suprema mounts have superior adjustability and feel. Polished and lapped carbide pads enable smooth, repeatable motion. Adjustment screws have 100 TPI threads for increased sensitivity and smooth adjustment feel. SN100 Series Kinematic Optical Mounts, which incorporate our patented clear quadrant design and removable actuators, offer a wide range of configurations including front or rear mounted optical components, a broad selection of manual and motorized actuator options, and optional locks. Convenient 8-32 (M4) tapped holes provide quick, precise, secure and stable mounting. SUPREMA mounts are compatible with standard post and post holder systems for adjustable height and pedestal posts for a stable fixed height. SS100 Series Kinematic Optical Mounts, which have a standard aperture and nonremovable actuators, are designed to offer superior stability. Documented thermal drift measurements prove this Suprema to be the new standard in stable kinematic optical mounts. The unique design features of the SS100, including the material and configuration, make them the best choice for the most demanding research, development, and industrial OEM applications.
