SG Series Scientific Grade Breadboards Newport’s Scientific Grade Breadboard is identical in all ways to our Research Grade Breadboard, except that it is not equipped with constrained layer dampers. The SG Breadboard offers a 3/16 in. ferromagnetic steel surface, enhanced damping, sealed holes, steel honeycomb core, and optional microlocks. This means the SG Series still out-performs other manufacturers’ top-of-the-line breadboards. • Selectively eliminates torsional and bending table modes • Damped work surface eliminates skin resonance • Honeycomb cells for a lighter, stiffer table with better dynamic rigidity • Triple core interface increases point-loading capability while minimizing static deflection Microlock™ Tiedowns Microlock Tiedowns are the best way to precisely level your breadboard.
