Reflective Microscope Objectives

Product catalog summary
Technical Reference and Fundamental Applications
This document serves as a guide for selecting various optical components, including spherical lenses, cylindrical and specialty lenses, optics sets, optical systems, mirrors, and prisms. It provides detailed specifications and applications for reflective microscope objectives.
Reflective Microscope Objectives
Newport's Reflective Microscope Objectives are based on the Schwardchild design, offering zero chromatic aberration and minimal other aberrations. They are available in 15X and 36X magnifications, with broadband coatings of aluminum and magnesium fluoride (MgF2), suitable for use from 200nm to 20µm. Custom coatings are available for specific wavelength ranges.
Key Features:
  • Wide spectral band
  • Long working distances
  • High numerical apertures
  • Zero chromatic aberration
  • Negligible coma, spherical, and astigmatic aberrations
Applications:
  • UV Metrology and Microscopy
  • Spatial Filtering
  • Photomicroscopy
  • Laser Energy Delivery Systems
  • FT-IR Spectroscopy
Specifications:
The document includes detailed dimensional diagrams and specifications for different models of reflective microscope objectives, including magnification, numerical aperture, back focal length (BFL), working distance, field of view, focal length, obscuration percentage, and secondary mirror diameter.
Reflectance Curves:
Typical reflectance curves for aluminum and gold coatings are provided, illustrating their performance across different wavelengths.
Ordering Information:
Models are available with different magnifications and back focal lengths, and custom configurations can be requested.

Accordingly, they have zero chromatic aberration, and negligible coma, spherical, and astigmatic aberrations. We offer 15X and 36X objectives, broadband coated with aluminum and over coated with magnesium fluoride (MgF2). They are usable from 200nm to 20ìm. Special coatings are available upon request including MgF2 optimized for the 157 to 195nm region, and gold for the visible to IR region.
