The compact size allows integration of the PCH-1 in optical systems where space is at a premium. Angular adjustments are accomplished using two high precision 80 TPI hex head screws. Special opposing screws are provided for locking the position. The addition of kinematic contact pads provide rock stable translation. Rotation is accomplished by rotating the device prior to securing the insulating Delrin retaining cap. Height adjustments can be made in increments of 0.125 in. by using spacers. The PCH-1 adapts to cylindrical devices ranging from 1.375–1.437 in. diameter.
