They are ideal for sensitive applications requiring an economical broadband reflector. Four round sizes are available — 12.7, 19.05, 25.4, and 50.8 mm (0.5, 0.75, 1.0, and 2.0 in.) diameter. • Low scatter coating (for UV, visible, and IR), virtually free of pinholes • Broader bandwidth than dielectric coatings • Ideal for sensitive OEM applications Specifications Material Pyrex® Surface Flatness (S1) ë/5 at 632.8 nm over the clear aperture Surface Quality (S1) 15-5 scratch-dig Clear Aperture central 80% of diameter Diameter Tolerance +0/-0.13 mm Thickness Tolerance ±0.25 mm Chamfers 12.7–25.4 mm 0.25–.076 mm face width x 45° ±15° Chamfers 50.8 mm 0.38–1.14 mm face width x 45° ±15° S2 Surface Ground Coating Pinholes None visible when the mirror is illuminated from the back with a high intensity chromatic light source with 800–1200 foot candle illumination. Inspection performed in a darkened room without using magnification. Durability MIL-M-13508C Cleaning Non-abrasive method, acetone or isopropyl alcohol on lens tissue recommended (see page 622) Damage Threshold AL.2-PF, 100 W/cm2 CW, 5 mJ/cm2 with 10 nsec pulses at 308 nm, typical ER.1-PF, 100 W/cm2 CW, 10 mJ/cm2 with 10 nsec pulses at 532 nm, typical ER.2-PF, 1000 W/cm2 CW, 1 J/cm2 with 10 nsec pulses at 1064 nm Typical 100 90 80 70 60 50 250 300 350 400 450 500550600 Wavelength (nm) Reflec tance (% ) AL.2-PF UV Enhanced Aluminum ER.1-PF Enhanced Aluminum 0° Reflectance (%) Wavelength (ìm) Typical 100 90 80 70 60 0.4 0.6 0.8 2 4 6 810 0.8 2 4 6 810 0° 0.4 0.6 ER.2-PF Protected Silver 100 90 80 70 60 Reflectance (%) Wavelength (ìm) Typical Ordering Information To order, append the coating code AL.2-PF, ER.1-PF, or ER.2-PF to the substrate number. For example, 10D20+ER.1-PF = 10D20ER.1-PF.
