This Windows™ based application commands various Oriel monochromators/spectrographs and detection systems, and it acquires, processes and displays data in real time. Simple mathematical operations can be performed on your data; add, subtract, multiply or divide scans with each other or with your own reference data. TRACQ32™ is powerful but easy to use and intuitive. Simple dialog boxes and prompt windows guide you through the programming of instrument parameters and setup of a scan. Windows™ Platform TRACQ32™ works under Windows™ XP. TRACQ32™ communicates with your Oriel instruments via their RS-232 or IEEE-488 interfaces. If you are integrating various instruments into your experiment, we suggest you use the IEEE-488 interface. You will then also need a National Instruments GPIB card in your PC. True Radiometry Software TRACQ32™ is true radiometry software. Data may be collected as sample or reference; ratios for irradiance, detector response, % transmittance, % reflectance, and absorbance may be calculated. Simple arithmetic operations can be performed on your data, and higher level integration for % radiation, is also supported. The data may be displayed in linear or logarithmic scales, and overlayed plots. Commands Oriel monochromators, spectrographs and detection systems TRACQ32™ controls the following instruments and their families of accessories: • MS257™ 1/4 m Monochromator and Imaging Spectrograph • Cornerstone™ 130 1/8 m Monochromator • Cornerstone™ 260 1/4 m Monochromator • MS260i™ 1/4 m Imaging Spectrograph • Merlin™ Digital Lock-in • OPM™ Optical Power Meter • Spectral Luminator® Tunable Light Source Simply program the instrument's parameters, and walk away while TRACQ32™ acquires and processes your data.Grating changeover points (on multiple grating instruments), filter wheel position changes, motorized slit control and detector changeover points (on multiple output port instruments) are just some of the operations that can be placed under TRACQ32™ control.
