Their broadband, wavelength-neutral response is only limited by the spectral flatness of their black coating and the transmission characteristics of any window materials used to protect them. The thermopiles listed here work with the Oriel OPMTM (Optical Power Meter). The Choices We offer three different thermopile detectors differing in the window material. We coat the active detector element with a black, absorbing coating. The typical spectral properties of this coating are modified by the transmission properties of the windows used with them, which we list in Table 1. What Else do I Need? For a complete Thermopile Detection System, you simply need: • Thermopile Detector • Oriel OPM Optical Power Meter • Broad spectral response - 0.2 to 40 ìm • Rugged thin film construction for high reliability • Excellent long term stability Ordering Information Type Detector Area Window Maximum Irradiance Typical DC Responsivity Typical Responsivity Time Typical Noise Equivalent Irradiance (NEI) Model Price Non-Calibrated 0.55 x 0.51 mm Sapphire 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71967 0.55 x 0.51 mm CaF2 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71968 0.55 x 0.51 mm KRS-5 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71971 Calibrated 0.55 x 0.51 mm Sapphire 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71957 0.55 x 0.51 mm CaF2 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71958 0.55 x 0.51 mm KRS-5 0.1 W cm-2 200-300 ìA/W 0.05-0.1 s 25 nW cm-2 71961
