Choose one of these CCDs for gated spectral measurements such as pulsed laser diagnostics and fringe analysis, and fluorescence lifetime measurements. They use a 3000 element linear CCD with 200 x 7 ìm pixels; the array length is 21 mm. We offer two models of LineSpec™ Gated CCDs, differing in spectral response; see Fig. 1 QUANTUM EFFICIENCY (%) 800 WAVELENGTH (nm) VIS 200 300 400 500 600 700 900 1000 50 40 30 20 10 UV-VIS 60 Fig. 1 Quantum efficiency of LineSpec Gated Linear CCDs The systems described here are detection systems, only. They do not include a spectrograph. We offer a line of 1/8 and 1/4 m spectrographs on pages 1209 to 1215. A LineSpec™ Gated Linear CCD Detection System includes: • 3000 element linear CCD array • USB Interface • LineSpec Data Acquisition and Control Software LineSpec Software The LineSpec software is an instrument control and data acquisition software that runs under Windows 98/W2K/XP. The software supports routine spectroscopic measurements and data acquisition. Data can be exported into most MS applications. We also offer optional LabView Drivers and an OEM Developer’s Kit. • 5 ìs to 10 s integration times • 3000 element linear CCD array • UV - NIR and VIS - NIR models • USB interface Specifications Pixel Size 200 ìm (H) x 7 ìm (W) Array Length 21 mm Saturation Exposure at 632 nm 4.7 nJ cm-2 (total); 6.6 x 10-5 nJ (per pixel) Readout Noise (in electrons, RMS) 114 e, typ.
