All four windows and the base are polished. Each cuvette is supplied with a Teflon® cover. We offer 3 and 10 mm path length cells, for different applications: 3 x 3 cells are good for fluorescence studies 10 x 10 cells are used for fluorescence, scattering and absorbance measurements Shielded Cell Holder for Optical Bench Work The 13950 Mount holds any standard 12.5 x 12.5 mm frame cell atop an optical rod. It has an 8 mm wide by 29 mm high rectangular aperture on all four sides. When viewing or detecting fluorescence or other signal through the sides of the cell, the apertures minimize reflected or scattered light from the cell input and output faces.
