These 1.5 inch series Oriel flanged filter wheels are simple and inexpensive alternatives to motorized filter wheels, when filter interchange is infrequent (for motorized versions, see page 266). They hold five or eight 1 or 2 inch (25.4 or 50.8 mm) diameter filters or apertures. A knurled knob at the top of the device rotates the wheel and indicates the filter in position. Each filter is positioned in the housing by a spring-loaded detent. Flange or Rod Mount These filter wheels have the standard Oriel 1.5 inch series male and female flanges. They are intended, primarily, to mount directly to the input or output of Oriel components and instruments. However, they can also be rod mounted.
