Kinematic nudgers are used to push or nudge a component, such as along a line defined by kinematic stops. Both Nudgers and Stops are designed with an inch-long slot sized for 1/4-20 (M6) screws to provide coarse positioning travel. The Nudger incorporates an 80-pitch adjustment screw with our patented locking mechanism to allow for 0.3 in. of fine travel. • Allows repeatable removal/insertion of components • Position optical table mounted components with precision • English and metric compatible Stops kinematically locate components and allow them to be repeatedly replaced. Its compact shape permits close component spacing, and its unique design provides stable mounting for even the most critical laboratory applications. The BUP-2 has a clearance hole to mount components like post holders and can also be used as a position reference block with its hardened locating spheres along two edges to serve as indexing points.
