For flanged integrating spheres that couple directly to Oriel Light Sources, Monochromators or Detectors, refer to page 1295. Integrating Spheres The reflectance spheres measure total integrated reflectance from a surface. They have two SMA connectors: one at 90° to connect to the spectrometer, and one at 8° for the illumination source. For irradiance measurements (i.e. lamp or LED characterization) use the irradiance sphere. This sphere acts like a cosine corrector, but is designed specifically for measuring the irradiance from a directed light source. Use a cosine corrector when measuring 180° irradiance (i.e. room light). The CRP IRR collects radiation from a 180° solid angle. It couples directly to any SMA terminated fiber. The CRP IRR uses a PTFE diffusing material, which is usable from 200 to 1100 nm. It has a 6.35 mm OD barrel dimension.
