These cards contain a special sensor area that emits clearly visible light when illuminated by NIR and IR sources. This allows for the easy location of infrared beams and their focal point—even in the dark—and the visualization of spatial mode patterns. Model F-IRC1, F-IRC2, and F-IRC-4 are credit card-size cards containing a 2 in. (50 mm) square sensor area. The models with a -S suffix are a smaller size card with 1x1.5" sensor area and provides a lesser expensive option. Model F-IRC2-F is also a smaller card containing a 0.5 in. (12.5 mm) square sensor area, and is used primarily with optical fiber outputs. The F-UVC1 is an Ultraviolet sensor card with 2 in. (50 mm) square sensor area for locating and analyzing light beams in the 0.24–0.60 ìm wavelength range range. These are also available in a smaller size -S version. All IR sensor cards are encapsulated between durable clear plastic layers, allowing for easy handling and carrying in your shirt pocket. The UV card has the protective polyester coating removed from the front of the sensor.
