Newport’s patent pending I-500 IsoDamp Isolation System damps high amplitude vertical displacements without adversely affecting isolation at higher frequencies or causing extended settling times as seen with heavy oil damping systems. The I-500’s horizontal pendulum isolation system provides superior isolation at low vibration levels compared to friction prone gimbaled and bearing systems.
