The rod is not included, purchase separately from page 708. The thin profile lets you place the fiber face close to a detector or sample. Flanged Mounts for Single Fibers Use one of these mounts to couple a single fiber directly to an Oriel Light Source, Detector or Integrating Sphere. It allows 0.063 inch (1.6 mm) adjustment in the X and Y directions, perpendicular to the optical axis, when the three thumbscrews are loosened. Also possible, is 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) adjustment along the optical axis. This adjustment range is sufficient to position the bundle in order to maximize the collected light from many focused sources.
