This approach provides especially smooth motion with excellent resolution and repeatability. In addition to short travel stages, this small precision adjuster is also compatible with Newport optical mounts like the ULTIMA® Series. DM-L Series Lockable Differential Micrometers DM-13L DM-L Series Lockable Differential Micrometers provide sub-micron positioning combined with coarse travel up to 25 mm. Coarse positioning enables rapid translation with a sensitivity of 1 ìm while the fine adjustment knob allows ultra-fine positioning over 0.2 mm travel, with 0.1 ìm sensitivity. The DM-L Series is the first actuator where both coarse and fine travel can be locked with a single knob.
