Fibers can be removed and replaced repeatedly without damage, yet they are held securely. • FPH-S holds 80-200 micron diameter fibers using a unique, stressless spring-leaf assembly • FPH-S-2.5 is a longer version of the FPH-S • FPH-J is a Teflon-lined chuck that accommodates fibers less than 250 microns in diameter • FPH-DJ is a Delrin-jawed chuck for large fibers from 300 microns to 1 mm diameter • FPH-CA Series chucks hold connectorized fibers The FPH-SR Strain Relief prevents inadvertent motion of bare fibers without introducing microbending. All bare fiber chucks ordered from this catalog accommodate this lightweight Delrin strain relief. Simply thread the fiber through it, then screw it on the end of the holder. Its Delrin jaws are relieved to fit around the fiber for a gentle grip. For cabled fibers FPH Series bare fiber chucks and holders are compatible with the FPH-C Cable Clamp. This compact device slips over the end of the fiber holder and grips fiber cables to relieve any stress applied to the fiber by the weight of the cable.
