You can vary the optical axis height, and you can adjust the position of the face of the bundle over 17 mm. When the fiber is in the proper position, it is secured with a thumbscrew. The 77814 does not include an optical rod; choose one from page 705. • Inexpensive Rod Mount • Coarse Z adjustment Ordering Information Model Description 77814 Rod Mounted Fiber Bundle Holder See our website WEBfor more info Flanged Fiber Optic Holders These mounts hold our circular to circular and circular to rectangular fiber bundles at the input or output of any Oriel 1.5 inch series component or instrument. They offer 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) adjustment along the optical axis. Once the fiber is positioned properly, it is secured with set screws. For an X-Y-Z fiber bundle holder,see page 258 . Two Types of Mounts We offer two types of fiber holders: • The 77357 and 77817 hold circular (11 mm diameter) bundles • The 77358 holds the rectangular end of our “Large Slit” fibers (described on page 256) at the input of our 77330 (page 1312) with an included extension.
