This document provides technical specifications and ordering information for Newport's 290 Series Fixed Height Platforms, which are used for stable mounting of large components in opto-mechanical applications.
- The platforms are made of thick anodized aluminum plates and rigid stainless steel posts with a satin-chrome finish.
- Available in heights of 4, 6, or 8 inches (100.4, 150.4, or 200.4 mm).
- The top plate features an array of tapped and clearance mounting holes, while the bottom plate has clearance holes for securing to tables or magnetic bases.
- Complete platforms are available in three models: 290-4 (M-290-4), 290-6 (M-290-6), and 290-8 (M-290-8).
- Posts can be ordered separately in heights of 3, 5, or 7 inches (75, 125, or 175 mm).
- Plates can also be ordered separately as top or bottom plates.
- Model 290-4: A = 3.00 in (75.0 mm), B = 4.00 in (100.4 mm)
- Model 290-6: A = 5.00 in (125.0 mm), B = 6.00 in (150.4 mm)
- Model 290-8: A = 7.00 in (175.0 mm), B = 8.00 in (200.4 mm)

The platforms are comprised of thick anodized aluminum plates and rigid steel posts with a durable, satin-chrome finish. The top plate has an array of tapped and clearance mounting holes for attaching components; the bottom plate has two rows of clearance holes for tie-down to tables or magnetic bases.
