(50.8 mm) square filters • Attach together to hold two filters • Post mountable, metric The M-PPF50 Spring-Loaded Filter Holder supports 2 in. (50.8 mm) square filters with a thickness of up to 5 mm. Two steel springs hold the filter on a frame with a 1.57 in. (40 mm) clear aperture. Two M-PPF50 filter holders can be screwed to one another to form a unit that holds two filters. This filter holder has an M6 threaded hole for post mounting. Newport’s Filter Wheel Mount provides a compact structure to securely hold 6–12 neutral density filters or any 1 in. (25.4 mm) optical component. Three captured, spring-loaded index balls provide repeatable and wobble-free rotation of the filter wheel. The foundation mount itself has been designed to provide clear apertures for all six filters and optical heights of 1, 2 and 3 in.
