P h o t o n i c s a n d I n s t r u m e n t a t i o n 373 Email: sales@newport.com • Web: newport.com Fiber Pigtailed Collimators Model F-COL Series Fiber Pigtailed Collimators consist of a multimode or single-mode fiber precisely aligned to a Gradient Index (GRIN) lens assembly, which is ideal for collimated light applications. Each fiber is contained in a glass ferrule, angle polished and AR coated to assure low back-reflection into the fiber. A protective metal housing sleeve and strain relief boot provide excellent environmental protection to the final assembly. Applications for a single fiber collimator include laser beam delivery systems, as well as coupling the output of a fiber into a detector.
