For coupling directly to an IS minispectrometer, we recommend using a 600 ìm core fiber, and no less than a 400 ìm core fiber, particularly if working in the UV. Note, our OSM Series of Minispectrometers include a 400 ìm core fiber. If you are working below 260 nm, please select a solarization resistant fiber. These fibers do not suffer from the damaging effects of deep UV. They are usable from 180 to 1100 nm. For a more detailed description of our fibers, see pages 249 and 250. Reflectance/Fluorescence Accessory The 78395 simplifies reflectance and fluorescence measurements. It is a 2.0 inch (50.8 mm) inner diameter cylinder which holds two SMA terminated fibers at 45°.
